The Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA), in collaboration with the Zambia Association of Pension Funds (ZAPF), officially launched the Pensions Awareness Week on the morning of Tuesday, 15th July 2025, at Taj Pamodzi Hotel.

Running from 14th to 19th July 2025, this year’s campaign is held under the theme: “My Pension, My Safety Net in Retirement.”

The launch event brought together a wide range of stakeholders from across the pension and insurance industry. It was officially opened by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Hon. Brenda Mwika Tambatamba, MP, who was represented by Mr Givens Muntengwa, Labour Commissioner at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

The Local Authorities Superannuation Fund (LASF) was represented by Ms Barbara Kasonde, Human Resource and Administration Manager, and Mr Chilinda Chilembo, Customer Service Officer.
