(i)       Where a member ceases employment on medical grounds based on Medical Board’s recommendations and employer’s satisfaction.

Mode of granting ill health (medical) benefit

(ii)      If the member has at least 10 years or 120 months contributing period is granted:

·       Commuted Pension Gratuity (Lump sum) at an option of 1/3 or 2/3 immediately on ceasing employment; and

·       The remainder as annuity (pension) regardless of his or her age for the rest of his or her life;

·       Annuity (pension) is guaranteed for 6 years
